The Davis men competed at the Head of the American regatta at Lake Natoma in Sacramento today. Results summary:

Men's Open 4 - 3rd, 6th, and 7th out of 12
Men's Light 4 - 2nd of 3
Men's Open 8 - 2nd and 5th of 12
Men's Light 8 - 3rd of 5

The Davis A entry finished 2nd only to Stanford in the Open 8, and the Davis B entry was not far behind, despite a rougher outing.

The light 4 posted a strong performance as well, finishing only 12 seconds behind a Cal Lights crew consisting primarily of rowers from their IRA light 8 last year.

Davis will compete again at the Newport Fall Regatta on Sunday, Nov 6. <% print_footer(); %>
