Boathouse
The UC Davis crews row out of the Curt Rocca Boathouse, located in the Port of Sacramento, which is about 20 minutes northeast from the UC Davis campus via Interstate 80 (directions below). Built in late-1993, the 4,000 square feet boathouse was made largely possible from the fundraising efforts of former Cal rower Curt Rocca, team members, alumni donations, and the University. The men's and women's teams have their own bays, each with racks holding up to 10 shells. There is a area in the rear of the boathouse allocated for stretching space, ergometers, weights, and a video playback station.

The Port of Sacramento contains one of the best bodies of water to row on in California. Crews can row year round in its relatively flat, endless water, and crews of yesteryear will recall the notorious Rio Vista row (a 4+ hour row to the town of Rio Vista).

Directions to the boathouse:
From the San Francisco Bay Area:
Take I-80 East past the city of Davis, continuing for about 20 more minutes. Take the Harbor Blvd. exit. Turn left at the stop light, onto Harbor Blvd.

From Sacramento:
Take I-80 West and exit at Harbor Blvd. Turn right at the stop light.

Once on Harbor Blvd.:
Continue straight to Industrial Blvd. Turn right on Industrial. Turn left into gate approx. 200 yards down Industrial. Follow paved path to the right around the perimeter of the Laborer's Training Center. Please observe the 15mph speed limit in on this road. When paved path dead ends, turn right down dirt path toward boathouse.
